Located in the beautiful Northeast San Fernando Valley, Maclay Middle School has a rich history and diverse population. In addition to its English only students, Maclay's student population is more than 50% English Learners. Our English Learners include students from Mexico, Central and South America, the Philippines and other Asian cultures as well as students born in the United States who speak two languages. As Bilingual Coordinator, Ms. Broadous works closely with students, teachers, and parents to make sure that all students become proficient and advanced in their use of academic English.
We plan a variety of acitivities for the success of our English Learners. Join us for English Learner Advisory Committe (ELAC) meetings each month. Please check the calendar activity dates and times. Welcome to our wonderfully diverse campus!
